The Puteaus Palace is hands down the most incredible place my husband and I have ever stayed! We made a visit for our honeymoon this year and the architectural details, landscape design, staff, food, rooms and amenities are impeccable! We never wanted to leave and considered cancelling the rest of our trip to extend for several more weeks.
Sadly, the COVID pandemic has forced them to close early this year but as soon as they reopen next year I would run to this absolutely incredible hotel....
My family stayed one night on our drive down from Zadar to Dubrovnik. The hotel was clean and new. The beach and pool were both clean and not too busy. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was good. At breakfast, our kids loved the automatic pancake machine. The location was also nice and quiet, if a bit hard to find.

Comfortable, airy, clean room with great views. Restaurants within a reasonable walk along the beach. One of the best breakfast buffets we've seen outside of a Vegas casino. We later stated at another "luxury" hotel in Zadar for the same price. The Bluesun wins in every regard as the best place to stay.
This is a family business. The staffs were very nice, friendly and very helpful. The hotel picked me up and drove me to the bus station, which was very helpful. The location and the view of the hotel are unbeateble, both the river and of course the sea view. 5-10 min walking along the river to reach the sandbeach.

We just spent our (too) short break in Villa Mediterranea and it was superb.
Location 10/10. Quality of the new top floor is 10/10, and soft king size beds (with memory foam layer) were my favorite part.
Bathrooms are very modern & very clean and the whole Villa Is highly mantained.
The owners Diana & Tom are super nice and handy.
One thing they may think of is to open a cocktail bar at the pool, it would be just great....
Super friendly staff and very helpful. Room is very close to the sea. Basic room but 5 star location and service. Room has AC and cooking facilities. Free chairs on the beach. Groceries and ATM close. Several good restaurants close and on the water. Hotel is pet friendly.

Apartments Johnny was perfect for my wife and I on our vacation. The staff we're extremely helpful, the building is newly renovated and in great condition, and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was a fault on hotels.com who sneakily charged 3 times the normal rate on one of the nights because of a festival. But the festival was in a town 15 minutes away and the traffic had no impact on Apartments Johnny. We felt ripped off by hotels.com

Was a bit concerned with checkout where the proprietor said that the Hotel does not take credit card and I must pay cash (mentioning a nearby ATM). I said to proprietor I was worried about ATM hacking (by skimmer) and using foreign ATM's may have other risks.
