Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa
8/10 Good
"room was nice and clean although a little dated staff were attentive and very helpfull realy enjoyed the spa facilties didnt have much of a view, also the sat nav directions took us down a road that is now closed so had travel a bit further to get here overall a good relaxing stay"
The Wood Norton
10/10 Excellent
"Well this was a surprise! I thought we were coming to a country pub, and it turned out to be a mansion originally owned by French royalty and taken over by the BBC during World War II. It was a bit tricky to find, once we had turned into the driveway, as it was hidden behind new housing, but we tracked it down. It was quite delightful."
Warwick Castle Hotel and Knight's Village
10/10 Excellent
"We previously stayed in a Knight's Lodge and wanted to try the hotel. It was immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. Our 13 year old struggled to fit into the bunk beds so slept on the pull out bed. We are thinking about returning in the Christmas season."
Crowne Plaza Stratford Upon Avon by IHG
8/10 Good
"Public areas were very impressive and luxurious. We loved the gardens and sitting out spaces. Nice to have the club lounge access with premium rooms- really enjoyed this facility. Good WiFi. Great parking. Fantastic location near town and theatres and restaurants and shops. It would have been good to have a coffee machine ( nespresso) in a premium room- the Premier Inn chain do this!"
The George Townhouse
8/10 Good
"Rooms are above a pub so a little evening noise but not too bad . Good size room ,great bathroom and large shower with easy to understand controls but needs shower mat as slippery . Good size bed and comfortable but pillows absolutely dreadful ...literally no support to head/neck ..Nice staff ."
Holiday Inn Express Bicester by IHG
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was good. There was a problem with the booking of 2 rooms. The manager was most unhelpful and would not phone me or reply to my emails. However, the assistant manager was very helpful remedied our complaint very quickly."
Paisley Pear, Brackley by Marston's Inns

"Location was good"
Chesford Grange Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Large hotel with lovely grounds - seems very dog friendly - breakfasts were lovely"
The Holt Hotel
8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our 2 nights staying at The Holt. The Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very nice shower. The staff were very helpful, especially in the restaurant with my dairy intolerance. My meal of Jerk Spiced Pork Rib Eye was delicious. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is ideally situated to explore Blenheim Palace."
