The Lodge was a great area to sit and relax. I wish we could have added to the fire but we didn't know you have to ask before 6pm for more wood. The room was clean and had what you needed. The location is excellent, you can walk right to the town to shop, eat, drink or walk along the canel.
My husband and I were on a 3 week driving tour of the UK. We booked this place for 1 night and didn’t anticipate it being anything special. I am SO sad we were only there one night! The room was on the smaller side but very nice. The area was absolutely perfect.
The food we had was delicious and just steps away. The locals were so helpful and nice. And the walking paths and the views were incredible. I miss this place already! It was a true highlight on our trip.

Such a peaceful, lovely place! Our host greeted us in the car park and welcomed us with glasses of Prosecco and whiskey. The rooms were huge and mush and well-appointed. Enjoyed after dinner evenings lounging by the fire in one of the sitting rooms sipping drinks. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. The staff was first-rate and made all the difference!
Wonderful comfortable old hotel with that special European charm and Service. Staff was welcoming, service exceptional, and the breakfast was very good. Outstanding describes the two dinners we enjoyed, and the grounds offer plenty of pleasant walks.
We had a wonderful stay at the Wee Apartment in Spean Lodge. The apartment was cosy, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable Highland getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Highland Bear Lodge. Very easy to find using the instructions found on their website. We took the opportunity to book the outdoor jacuzzi and it was well worth it, with beautiful views over the valley and lots of wildlife to spot.

Clean, minimalistic, and quiet except for the occasional door closing. The doors are heavy so you do hear them slam shut. I appreciated the self check in as it was easy to do. Also the breakfast was tasty, great pastries!
