The best B & B I’ve stayed in. The host Helen is absolutely lovely, and fixes an amazing breakfast. The room was charming, well decorated, and had amenities such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. Tea, water and a couple snacks were also provided in the room. A wonderful place, I hope one day to return.

I would recommend this place again and again. The owners had recently taken over and it was a truly fantastic experience. The grounds are beautiful, very convenient to the beach, and the rooms are huge. The only note I would add is that there's no lift/elevator so be prepared for the possibility of walking some rather narrow stairs. That said, breakfast is menu based and delicious, the family that runs the facility is absolutely the kindest, and I plan to return here in the future and see...

The Cawdor house was lovely! The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the room well equipped with tea, bottled water and a strong hot shower. The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful.

This B&B is worthy of all the praise they get. Clean and quiet, comfortable and welcoming. The very lovely couple that owns it will do anything in their way to please you and they are very glad to help. The house is 3 minutes from the train station and close to the city centre. The breakfast is lovely and we will definitely be staying again.

We were initially very tensed as we are going to Europe for first time. Communicated with the owners (Karen & George), they were very friendly and eased our anxiety. Karen met us after we checked-in and she was very friendly and helpful. My wife and daughter liked the glamping area very much, its safe. I highly recommend if you are planning for a trip to Loch Ness and need a small private atmosphere.

We enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay at the Aurora Hotel & Italian Restaurant in Nairn. The location was excellent, with an easy walk to the beach and waterfront, making it a great base for exploring the area. We stayed in a Family Room with one double bed and two single beds. Very cute historical castle frequented by Charlie Chaplin. Convent to airport and surrounding towns. Close to a lovely golf course and bay. Staff is very helpful. Full breakfast and cute restaurant on site. Loved it !

It was in very nice area, check was easy, without check in desk, and the instructions were straight fwd.

Beautiful convenient location. There was a lil’hiccup when we arrived but the staff were amazing readily to assist - it’s all about the attitude! The food was amazing and variety local selection of draft beer. We were all impress w/ their yummy dishes. We enjoyed our leisurely walks along the beautiful beach.

Took almost 30 min of waiting to be checked in even though we were there well before their check in cut off time. Staff nowhere to be found. No signs showing reception area etc. Went up and down the building stairs shouting "hello" "hello". Finally someone showed up. Not worth what we paid at all.

The staff at the Culloden House could not have been more helpful - from arrival, to meal service and through departure. We were a party of five and occupied three rooms - which they expertly assigned to us in close proximity The Hotel is an antique but the interiors are fabulous, bathrooms are modern and the maintenance is top notch. There is no sacrifice of comfort to preserve the antiques. The quality of foods and beverrages are on par with the quality of the Hotel. We knew our 5:00 a.m....

Such a peaceful, lovely place! Our host greeted us in the car park and welcomed us with glasses of Prosecco and whiskey. The rooms were huge and mush and well-appointed. Enjoyed after dinner evenings lounging by the fire in one of the sitting rooms sipping drinks. Breakfast was delicious and served in a beautiful dining room. The staff was first-rate and made all the difference!

A very charming and cute hotel.

This was such a wonderful retreat yet close to town. The staff was incredibly kind and the food was amazing. We were travelling with our two dogs and they were made to feel as comfortable as we were. We definitely hope to return!
