Humber buoy, from the shore east south east of North Ferriby, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The little green boat I think must be an aid to shipping in the Humber, marking the deep water channel. In the background is the Humber Bridge (south tower). The same buoy is also pictured a year or so earlier at SE9921 : Channel Buoy 29 where it is on the opposite side of the Humber, showing presumably the degree of movement in the estuary's sandbanks.

"What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright. When we arrived the staff on reception pulled out our check0in notes and informed us that everything was set up as per our request. The staff are warm and friendly as well as helpful. If you want a base for exploring this part of Yorkshire come here and you won't be dissapointed."
