One of our favorite places during our entire trip to Scotland. The amazing, kind, friendly staff is the biggest highlight. But everything else is a close second- the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was wonderful (try the eggs Benedict), and the one block access to the golf course was wonderful!
Beautiful quiet countryside, lambs in the farm just across the gate excellent instruction, book with photos and how to instructions for everything in the pod. It was the best instruction of welcome manual I’ve seen in all of my stays at different locations throughout Scotland.

What a wonderful place to stay. Tain is a small and charming town. My husband golfed at Royal Dornoch and it was an easy drive. Most important the staff at No. Ten was fantastic. SO accommodating and kind. And the breakfast had a great variety and was substantial. I highly recommend the location!!
Marie is a fabulous hostess! She was waiting for us outside in the back yard. She even helped unload and carry in the luggage. The room had an ensuite. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It is right off the road and so easy to find! The kitchen was well equipped.
The Shandwick Inn is a homey place, conveniently located off the A9. It has a relaxing atmosphere, good food and clean comfortable rooms. A nice place to unwind after a drive!
Lovely, classic place to stay. Great staff. Family run feel. Delicious breakfast. Loved the attached pub with nice folks who were friendly and welcoming. One of whom recommended the nearby golf course which was a wonderful quick round.
