Lovely place to stay and lovely hosts. Had the full breakfast. Very good and reasonably priced. An apartment at the price of a room

The accommodations were lovely...very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious. The farm animals were adorable!! And, our host was amazingly friendly and kind. We had a fantastic stay!

I was there from midnight to 7 am. Did not have enough time to enjoy it. I like the gardens and country feel!!

My family and I spent one night of it two weeks vacation at the Black Lion Hotel. It might our favorite of our whole trip.To say that it was fabulous would be an understatement. We had two rooms, and they were perfect! Clean, roomy, and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and caring. One of the unexpected perks was the hotel's restaurant... The food was exceptional! I highly recommend staying there.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place, especially including the surrounding grounds. We really enjoyed the associated pub a short walk down the street. The staff was great. We even went clay shooting with the renowned head chef.

Catherine was so helpful and kind to us. She and my husband celebrated special birthdays. She made our stay memorable

Beautiful viewfrom the room. Smoked kippers for breakfast. The alley to the car park was very narrow and had deep pot holes.

My stay at Craig-y-Dderwen Riverside Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The setting alone makes it special - nestled right along the river, surrounded by beautiful scenery that immediately makes you slow down and relax. In the evenings I opened my window to hear the sound of the river flowing by. It was incredible peaceful. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming. They happily shared hiking recommendations, and one evening when I went down for a glass of wine, a staff member encouraged me to...

Really enjoyed our room in the Castle View. Dining was a bit too formal for our tastes.
