What an amazing place. Calm, quiet, and french air are the top things that come to mind. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious. I only wish we had time to walk by the river or try out the beautiful pool. We'll be coming back here soon.
I stayed for one night on a business trip in the area. We arrived after dark and left before sunrise so we didn't see much of the landscape but what we saw of the hotel grounds was very charming. Think green fields, nice gardens, and quaint stone buildings. The room that I stayed in could have used a bit of an upgrade in terms of furniture, TV, and carpet but the bedding was very nice and the bathroom had just been remodeled. The rooms are a fair size for a French hotel. No frills, clean and comfortable.
Sole issue for my particular experience, shower/sink water barely over tepid. I mentioned to the staff who adressed it, and water was instantly warmer, although still not "hot". Shower with tepid water in November isnt the most agreable.
But overall the experience was pleasant.
