Le Vieux Castillon is in one of the most beautiful ancient villages that is close to Avignon, Uzes, Pont du Garde, St. Remy de Provence and Les Beaux. We have been going to this area for 15 years for business and this hotel does not disappoint. It may appear a little rustic to some, but the charm is great.

We loved staying here and plan to return and stay longer. We loved talking with Elisa and Gaurent with our broken French. Quiet area. They cooked breakfast for us, not a buffet. Very personal, the perfect bed and breakfast.

This hotel was really interesting as it is set in a small ancient town near Avignon but is elegantly decorated, comfortable and with very helpful management. We couldn't believe the special touches throughout and lovely artwork - a real find worth the short drive from the motorway at a reasonable price. Breakfast was a also a masterpiece served in a unique setting.

Beautiful hotel in a very calm village in Provence. Perfect for families or couples. The restaurant is really good as well.

Property is beautiful, plenty of space to sit outside and the grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. Staff could not be more welcoming and helpful

Spacious room, comfortable bed, free parking. The rooms and the hotel in general were clean. The check in at the reception was smooth. We had a dinner at a nearby restaurant recommended by the staff and it was quite nice. The only downside is the location, which is kind of middle of nowhere but perfect for one night stay while on the road. Overall we had a pleasant stay here.

This hotel was the highlight of our Provence trip. The owner and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. They are generous on their servings. This was my second stay here. Very quietly located in the town close to good restaurants, bars and sights. Walking distance to train station. Room very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast buffet very good with a good choice of food and hot coffee. I enjoyed my week here very much.

After touring Avignon, we would recommend this hotel. Quick check-in, easy parking, and pleasant staff. We loved our room, with balcony and comfortable table and chair, overlooking a garden-like yard. The pool was lovely too.

Great location to explore the region. The whole staff (all women !! :-) is super helpful, good-humored and professional. We look forward to stay there again in the future.

I was traveling with my teenage daughter! We spent one night! It was so comfortable! Room was very comfortable and big compared to our other hotel rooms! Staff was very friendly and had great suggestions for meals! You will need a car to visit but there is plenty of parking. You will love your stay! Definitely would visit again! Merci!
