This was a perfect room for our pilgrimage to Lourdes. We had a room with four twin sized beds for the two of us. It gave us lots of room to spread out our luggage from our multi-week travels. There is a closet with hangers and shelves for storage. The beds were very comfortable. We only wished we remembered to open the windows at night because the area was so beautiful. The hotel proprietor was so friendly and provided us with an amazing breakfast each day. The breakfast was so plentiful that...
The hotel is located close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean however the toilet seat needs replacement. Our room has a small but nice balcony. Breakfast is adequate. Great rate and will definitely stay there again in the future.

Hotel Astrid is one of the few hotels that are open during the winter time. It is just a few short walking minutes away from the Sanctuary. It is one of the newer hotels in the town. The restraunt was good and the staff cordial and helpful. I have stayed here before and would do so again.

1. The location was very helpful. You can reach the sanctuary with a very pleasant stroll (like 7 minutes by walk) very safe area. You will find everything nearby. Also bus stop is literally in front of the hotel!

Lovely house on the side of the hill. Just three rooms. We were very well fed and very well taken care of by the owner and her family. I loved being able to sit out and look at the mountains and hear the river down below.
Very hard to find though. Make an effort to be sure you have clear specific directions to the house before you arrive.
