Marianne was an attentive host. Check-in was easy, parking was on site, the rooms in the family unit were comfortable. The house is impeccably maintained, inside and out, with lonely sitting areas outside and a cute little town to stroll around. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
Beautiful, peaceful property in the countryside, only a few minutes from Foix. The proprietress is lovely, and the food is very good. Note the wifi is spotty and a bit slow, but manageable, and there is no air conditioning. Despite these issues, we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing stay at Le Clos Cathala.
Visited Tarascon-sur-Ariege and surrounding area. Food at the hotel's restaurant (Bellevue) was delicious and service was prompt. Also enjoyed the local wines. All staff were very helpful even though their English and our French needed a bit of help (thanks to Lovely Planet translation books). Pricing for accommodation was appropriate. Well located, nice big room, modern bathroom, has a bar which is pleasant. Hotel is very quiet and has lots of parking. Breakfast has lots of variety and is very tasty. I would stay here again.
