This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. There are no downsides. Just fantastic.
The room was comfortable and clean,as was the general property condition. The breakfast buffet was very nice and we especially liked the coffee machine. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Rooms: Clean, spacious and quaint with a lot of character. Junior suite was spacious with a sitting area, an outdoor patio, and a huge bathroom. Well equipped with a comfortable king bed, large screen TV and coffee maker. Country-style room made you feel as if you really were staying in the countryside. Although the property was built in ~1850, it is extremely well maintained!

Gordes is a ver small village with narrow streets and hard to find parking spots. The hotel is a little outside the crowd! This way you are very very close to everything but still out of the "mess". The hotel is very beautiful, confortable and the pool is amazing!
Right in the center of the action during the festival! We loved the location! Many amenities to enjoy- the breakfast was particularly convenient for early mornings.
This was my second stay here. Very quietly located in the town close to good restaurants, bars and sights. Walking distance to train station. Room very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast buffet very good with a good choice of food and hot coffee. I enjoyed my week here very much.

We stayed here for just one night before catching the train to Paris, but we wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel definitely has a guest-house feel to it, and you get the feeling that the restaurant is the main focus here. This hotel is a remodeled farm house. They did an excellent job. The rooms are simple but very functional. Great beds, outstanding shower and hot water and after a long day sightseeing, we didn't have to look for a restaurant. They have an excellent menu choice with every day new suggestions. Our apartment was spacious and clean. Wonderful, quiet location that is close to all that Avignon has to offer. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Highly recommend.
Overall, great place and very close to the downtown. The only problem was having to lower the bollard blocking the road in order to drive to the front of the hotel. And the parking garage was a bit of a walk, but free.

Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls.
The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!
