We LOVED staying at the Mirador. The staff there REALLY seems to care about providing an amazing experience. Guisepie said to act like this was home and it felt like it. The view from the restaurant is so relaxing and scenic. The staff is helpful in providing directions to hikes etc. It’s a block out of town so it’s more quiet but It still close enough. We really enjoyed our stay here. A beautiful setting, very clean and the hotel grounds are kept up nicely. Nice places inside and outside to sit and read or have a beverage. The pool was open and clean but very cold, which was welcome to soak our feet after hiking. Parking in front is under cover for shade. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed 2 dinners. Restaurant staff was friendly and attentive.

The first thing I have to mention is the excellent staff. Every one of them was polite, attentive and helpful and communicated well in spite of the language barrier. I didn’t speak a word of French but they did their best to communicate in English and they did a great job. Garden and City has lots of common spaces to hang around after a hard day of hiking.
