Particularly in the evenings, where you can sit outside in one of several semi-private courtyards and enjoy a glass of wine, beautiful garden surroundings, and stunning views over the countryside from the castle's perch. Property is absolutely beautiful and service is very good. Staff assisted us on many matters. Even after we checked out and ran into some issues with local rental car company, due to language barriers, we reached out to La Zambra for help and they tried their best. It is conveniently located in the middle, Malaga to the east, Marbella to the west and Ronda to the North. Mijas is 20 minutes drive up the hills.
This was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in in my entire life! It was a palace. It had beautiful history. It had a saltwater pool! The staff was absolutely impeccable. Beyond friendly, they made me feel like I was genuinely appreciated and the breakfast was something to behold. The next time I visit Malaga I will only stay at the Miramar. Our room was super clean, stylish and comfortable. I enjoyed the bar and pool on the rooftop. Everyone was kind and professional. Would highly recommend it is less than 10 min drive to the airport. Parking is available for purchase but there were plenty of spots on the street. I used a taxi to get to the airport for about 14 euros.
