In the beautifully preserved UNESCO village of Caceres, this parador commands a top notch location just off one of the main plazas. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and provides a warm welcome and high service. Palacio de Oquendo means Oquendo's palace--enough said--it is a high-end property. Check-in was flawless. Our room was a short stairway up; they offered to carry our bags to our room. We did not experience the breakfast buffet but it looked amazing. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed; bathroom was amazing. Top-notch all the way. We have stayed here on many occasions and it is always a very enjoyable experience. The staff are super friendly and they always go the extra mile to help their guests. The food is always spectacular and the area around the pool and the grounds in general is well maintained. As we travel with our pet dog, the extensive grounds are particularly appealing to us. As very pleasant stay and we cannot wait to come back
