Great location. We had a large terrace with amazing views of the castle and mountains. Rooms were large with ample space. Hotel offered two restaurants and a complimentary breakfast each day. Also offered free parking.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. Our room had wood flooring and a rug, which is something I don't often see in hotels! Dinner at the hotel restaurant was an enjoyable experience as well.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort. The room was absolutely beautiful—elegantly designed, comfortable, and with breathtaking views of the Alpsee. The staff went above and beyond, especially Tomy at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. Breakfast each morning was a treat—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting this area.

Hotel Waldman is a jewel. This wonderfully charming family run hotel and restaurant is gorgeously surrounded by picturesque Bavarian country side and snow capped mountains. The food is just as spectacular as the views, and their hospitality makes this enchanted place feel as much like home as it does a fairy tale. Great hotel...great location....friendly and helpful staff for the most part. There was one guy who clearly had an issue with Americans....gave him a 20% Euro tip (which is way more then Europeans leave) and he was still a %^$*&.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic. Their accommodations are top notch, staff are friendly and helpful, and their food in their buffet and restaurant are phenomenal. Location is also perfect for walking around Fussen.
The location of this property makes it easy to walk around town to visit the many shops and restaurants. Though the room was small, it was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Had a little trouble finding how to get to hotel, due to road construction. Also, had to pay cash in morning, because front desk person didn't speak much English and couldn't do credit card for us.
Huge room. I has 2 twins and 2 pull out chairs for families. Bathroom also huge. The garage was expensive but I didn’t want to deal with parking. Room has safe. Large walk in shower. Would recommend. 9/10
The hotel was in an excellent location and the staff, particularly Dami (?), was very kind and helpful. The breakfast offerings were unbelievable--definitely take advantage of that. Also, make sure to take a bike to the castle. It's a lovely bike ride and easier to manage. Just really pay attention to the warnings to get there 1.5-2 hours in advance. We came for a week of rest and found it here. Service was courteous and we especially enjoyed getting to know some of the waitstaff whom were more interactive with us and our dog. Absolutely amazing experience. Hotel couldn't have been closer to the train/bus station and was beautiful. Staff went WAY above expectations to make us feel comfortable and welcome. So glad I made last minute decision to spend the night in Fussen rather than take a tour from Munich - hotel less expensive and was MUCH better!!
