Comfortable rooms and nice location. The owner and staff are all friendly and professional. The dinner was first class fine dining, something not to miss! Breakfast was very good as well. The only challenge was the internet…. We were only able to get on the internet when outside in the courtyard.
The stay was great! Very friendly hosts that went above and beyond to make me feel welcome.
The only thing I'd say is to be sure you plan ahead if you will rely on public transportation, as bus schedules can be limited on weekends/evenings. Additionally, securing a rideshare can be difficult as well due to the remote location. However, if you speak German, it's rather easy to call the RMV to reserve busses after hours, but you must do so 60 minutes in advance :)

We spend 2 nights (Friday - Sunday). Hotel is typically occupied Monday - Friday so there is nobody at the desk. You are given a code to retrieve keys to your room via email. Room was very nice and clean … desk had a refridgerator stocked with beverages… surrounding area was very quiet … small town feel!!! Breakfast was also very good with a nice variety!!! I can highly recommend this hotel!!!
Excellent hotel not far from the train station. It lies directly on the Lahn river in the historic part of the town. Our room was in the back with a balcony/ Terrasse that had a view of the mountain and lovely bird song. The bed was comfortable and firm. The bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. The tub was an enormous soaking tub. We did not use the e-bikes or sauna. Breakfast was traditionally German but included scrambled eggs and bacon. It is helpful if you understand German...
