We stayed at the Rocco Forte line before and found it lovely, however the service and overall experience at the Charles Hotel truly defined luxury service. Best example: we wanted to take the subway to BMW World and it being a hard to find station, the concierge not only walked us to the station but down to the platform and ensured we got the correct train. We look forward to staying there again when we return later this year.

Simply perfect. I'm gonna say best value for any hotel. Love the room design themed on a painter. Everything was brand new, super clean and 100% working. Front desk people are funny and delightful.
The location is great if you want to explore the old town. The direct neighborhood around the station is a little funky but it's diverse and fun.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Romantik Hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. The on-site restaurant was phenomenal and there were also other places very close by. From the hotel, we were able to hike around the area, including a trek up to the Andechs brewery, through a beautiful, wooden area and over to the lake. We loved the hotel and the town.

I booked close to the train station and this was a very easy walk (0.2 miles). I wanted to add another night and couldn't through expedia without having to change rooms. Since they let me check in early, they were able to juggle other guest accommodations so I could keep my same room for the second night. I paid the hotel direct, which was actually cheaper than expedia and included breakfast (which was quite nice). Five Stars for service and facility.
We could not have been happier with our stay. The hotel and room were spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was much more than I was expecting. Our room was simple but clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is ideal as its across the street from the train station but walkable to the Marienplatz, the Old City, and numerous neighborhoods. Hotel is centrally located to most everything in downtown Munich. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The only complaint is that some rooms will require one to lift suitcases up steps. Will stay here again.
The staff was overly accommodating, attentive, and friendly! They saw that we had big bags and were quick to help bring them up the stairs to our room. The garden of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the entire place is quaint, quiet, and peaceful. The metro to the city was quick and super easy to navigate. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in paris! Just be aware, the building we stayed in had no elevator, which poses a problem for those with mobility challenges.
It’s a great hotel on all accounts. Except it should be noted for individuals with mobility issues that you have to go up five steps to get to the elevator and it only goes up six floors. It does not go to the seventh floor. That really should be in the info on the website somewhere. If it was, I didn’t see it in. I was fine, but this was an FYI for others.
