Had trouble with the shower in the morning: water flow went from zero to enough and then zero, prolly lots of people taking a shower at the same time, was afraid of ending up with soap all over.
The grounds are beautiful with different types of fruit trees, lovely veranda to enjoy the view of the mountains. We especially love the sisters who run the place. They are quite attentive, making sure we were comfortable. We definitely would recommend this lovely bed&breakfast

We had a 7:00 am tour so we couldn’t utilize regular breakfast. They made us a sandwich, fruit, and juice which was appreciated, but if all that was done, they could have just as easily fed us normal breakfast a little early. A beautiful space, well suited for our family of 4 with 2 teens. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy. We spotted many birds from the outdoor area including white throated parrots and keel billed toucans. Even if it's raining there is a screened patio room and covered porch. This is a beautiful area and a lovely place to stay.
Hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had in my life. The tiny house was clean, wonderfully decorated. It included snacks and some small gifts that made the stay even more special. The bed and linens were amazingly comfortable. It was wonderful to sit outside in the hot tub or inside by the fire. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Puterenas is a busy port and not really a center for tourism. I reserved here as a halfway point from Tamarindo to Quepos. What a wonderful surprise.
