This was the best hotel experience of our lives! This is a beautiful old Italian farmhouse that has been completely remodeled but preserves all of the charm. A bit difficult to find, but worth it. We spent two nights in this hotel and loved it. Gardens and environment is magical. Hotel is luxurious but understated and still very friendly. We have two young daughters and everyone was very friendly and happy to see them. Restaurant is very good and staff was the best we had the whole time in Italy. We spent time in Venice and Rome and in the end everyone agreed that our time in this hotel was the best.

Pro: gorgeous and spacious property, we were upgraded to a junior suite that was lovely, attentive staff, and incredible amenities. Pool was wonderful for tired bodies. Con: very few. The restaurant on site has pretty limited menu, toilet in room kept running all night long- informed staff on checkout (as it was troublesome to flush, and wasting water), fridge in room- housed in a cabinet that I feel caused it to overheat… and therefore was not very powerful enough to keep drinks cold.
