Quiet and peace-full location 25 minutes drive to Siena Staff and management helpful, friendly and all wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Food was great. Hotel Minerva was built it seems sometime in the 80s and the decor will remind you of this. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and we were greeted by a porter that helped with luggage. The rooms are good size for the large hotel and had really clean linens and cold AC. WIFI signal was not strong in the rooms but nice in the lobby (3 euro extra for WIFI). I loved my time at this hotel. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind and helpful, the breakfast was great and the location was perfect. I was staying at Il Monte with several friends and we took over most of the rooms - all were large, clean and very comfortable. There is a little bar at the hotel and we enjoyed sitting outside with a bottle of prosecco before going to dinner in Monte San Savino, which was about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

If you are looking for the quintessential, classic experience in the heart of Tuscany, look no farther. Completely off the beaten path, this majestic 800-year-old vineyard delivers in every single way. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, especially our waiter, Eiman, who was more like a manager and adviser. The meals were fantastic. The wines were to die for, and the setting was peaceful. Highly recommended!
