The property was more than I expected for the price I paid. Mark the owner is a very friendly and accommodating individual. Communication was extraordinary, he made sure that taxi service was available throughout my trip. George who was my driver was very kind, he went above and beyond to make sure my stay was memorable. The general experience was quite good, the hotel menu selection was ok. and service quite good. The public transportation was quite easy and accessible. . However, there was a misunderstanding on the package booked. Although my party consists of (4) four person, however, the breakfast was only available to (1) one person. This was not made clear when the booking was made. we discovered this the day we checked in.. This was very dissappointing ..

I recently traveled to Barbados early June for my birthday. The hotel staff was very warm and friendly; they checked in on my friends and I daily and gave us great advice of places to visit, places to eat and booked a catamaran excursion for us that picked us up and dropped us off. Rosie at reception is amazing!! She was funny and sweet and even gave a a bottle of wine on my Birthday! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this really cute apartment. Our apartment was #15, and it became our little home. The air conditioning and fan were welcome as the mornings in B'dos became warm quite quickly. The staff was very helpful and resolved our TV issues within minutes. Mrs. Brown is a sweetheart and made us feel very welcomed. The apartments are within minutes to a main road with restaurants, banks, super markets, and the beach and board walk.

Our stay at Blue Monkey was incredible from start to finish. The property is beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is the people. Every employee we encountered was kind, friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure we were well taken care of. You can feel that the entire team truly cares about the guest experience. The rooms were beautifully appointed, with extremely comfortable beds, an amazing shower, and top-notch toiletries. Everything felt thoughtful and luxurious without...

After reading a few of the reviews on this site I was wary, but we had an 18-hour layover and needed a place to sleep. I figured, whatever, we can at least just sleep there. We LOVED it. Had a great stay at Mango Bay for five nights in mid April 2017. Reviews were right on. We had a room overlooking the pool with a partial view of the ocean. The pool closes early, noise was never an issue. The beach was small but amazing, highly underrated. The best part is the food! Can't say enough good things about the entire food staff from the chefs, the wait staff they are very pleasant and engaging. The food was the best by far of any resort we have ever been to. I never review any place I've been, but this place really exceeded my expectations. First off, I should say: The staff said this was their busy season, with occupancy around 90%. But, it didn't feel that way. No problem getting a table at the restaurants, no problems finding a place to sit at any of the pools... even if we came down at noon, there were always beach chairs available. Very comfortable property, never felt crowded, great food & restaurant activities on property, lots of good...

I arrived late at night for a stay at The Sands right down the street, but I didn't want to spend the money for the all-inclusive resort for the first night, just to immediately go to bed and then leave to go sailing the next morning. So, I booked my first night at Melrose to save a couple hundred dollars. Melrose's rooms are more like small apartments than hotel rooms. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and I had zero issues, and it's equipped so that you could easily stay there for a while...
