A very residential neighborhood so if you want to eat, it has to be there unless you drive. Beautiful hotel perfectly located in Badenweiler to experience everything they have to offer. The Roman ruins, spa, castle ruins and amazing parks are all within a short and beautiful walk. Do not miss the giant Sequoia's in the park. The Breakfast is great. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the wifi is only available in the public areas. Staff has some English proficiency.

We stayed for two nights hiking in the area and visiting the Open Air Museum. Frieberg was charming for late afternoon/evening activities.
