Our room had recently been redone and was beautiful! It was very spacious and had a gorgeous shower. People should be cautioned, however, that it is open to the room and when sharing with someone other than your partner can be uncomfortable. Along with our college-age son, we spent two wonderful nights here on a weekend site-seeing trip when he visited us after our recent relocation to Europe. The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the quaint town of Saint Hippolyte making it an ideal location to start exploring the town on foot or by car to the other nearby beautiful towns; the wonderful Chateau du Haut Konigsbourg is very close by but is definitely a drive-to location as it is on top of the high ridge overlooking the town....
