Pick up from the airport went smooth ( you may want to ask details but basically follow signs to hotel shuttles/ look for a black van with the name of the airport on it. This place is in the center of Sitges, a beautiful old town on the sea, a half hour from Barcelona. The hotel is 5 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the old town, ten minutes from the beach. You can walk along the sea for several kilometers. Our room was in the annex, called the Pavilion, it had a charming small balcony overlooking the street. Arrived early and they let us check in. Staff was very helpful, room was clean and quiet, bed was comfortable and shower was great. Nice breakfast/brunch place just next door.
The staff were nice. The breakfast even though start 7:00 (a little bit late 6:30 is the best) but it was perfect. The room was clean and the service amenities were nice. I would be better if they can add hair comb or brush to the amenities. But in total it is a good, convenient , safe hotel to stay at while visiting Barcelona. You have a train station going everywhere , even to the Airport in Barcelona just down the hotel.
I must say this is probably the best 5-star hotel in Barcelona. I've stayed at many others: Hotel Do, El Place, Cotton House, The One, Mandarine Oriental, The Majestic, etc, and this is certainly my favorite. Everything was amazing! The Hotel is in a great location and has an amazing view!! The staff gave us a special welcome detail when we got to our room. Like we say in Puerto Rico: “Tienen que venir y vivir la experiencia” !!!!
This property was in the best location. We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant ladies were the best, same as front desk and the porters…. They noticed My husband birthday and left us chocolate :) quite heart warming when we were by ourselves traveling! Definitely come back when in Barcelona! Five star all the way
