The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent (close to the city center and lots of cafes, grocery stores, and tourist sites.) It is within walking distance of the train and bus stations.

I would recommend Nuvo Hotel as a wonderful place to stay in Oviedo.
This was a wonderful one-night stop in the middle of a few days of driving. We particularly appreciated the check-in parking right in front, which we had not had at some other hotels in the old town of their city. The staff was gracious and always very helpful, even coming outside to ask if we needed help when we walked out the front door and hesitated before walking off. We especially enjoyed the spa facilities after a long day of driving. There was a very hot sauna, steam room, ultra-modern...
The AC Hotel is adjacent to the railway terminal and only 200m from the bus station, plus it's on the ring road for the simplest of access. The staff could not be more helpful and the facility is in top-notch condition. We came to walk the Camino Primitivo and they kindly held onto our [non-Camino] luggage while we walked even though we only stayed there at the end (after foolishly choosing a different hotel for our first night in Spain!)
We were very satisfied with the services of this hotel. The staff was always helpful. It is conveniently located in the center of town, near restaurants and sites, and there is parking across the street. Our room was large, very comfortable, and clean.
It's hard to miss Hotel Silken Ciudad Gijon. It's a huge, tall and modern structure in a quiet neighborhood. I was assigned to a room good for two guests and I'm very thankful to the front desk lady staffer as there was more than enough moving space like the bathroom that is well lit, complete with washing/bathing amenities plus a bed with clean sheets and soft pillows.
