Lovely room and easy check in. Some people struggle with the auto check in but if you do the email instructions the day before it’s easy. Shower was amazing and loved the little extras in the room! Air con worked too (first time on the Camino!)
The most important thing to know about this hotel, is it is NOT in Galar. It is in Salinas de Pamplona. The other thing to know, is that you need a car. There isn't any public transportation. We stayed here because the price was right and it was close enough to Pamplona for the Running of the Bulls. The hotel was comfortable and the town was quiet. There was one restaurant, but they were closed for vacation. I would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet mountain place to stay.
The location is excellent right in the central square, the staff at the front desk is always kind and friendly, very supportive. Probably the best staff I have experienced ever. The rooms are large by European standards, the bathroom is quite large, the bed and linens are good not luxury but very good, the breakfast was included in our rate and it was quite good, we were allowed a late checkout and that was pretty good and helpful.

I have been coming to Mandelbaldea every year for four years. The hotel desk staff does its best for me, and I found one person (Mr. Lopez) who speaks good English. When I give the staff a "3" rating I am not referring to the hotel desk staff, only the restaurant staff. We stayed in this property 3 nights. Staffs were very friendly. They went above and beyond to help us. We felt like home when we stayed here. The view is excellent. Definitely we will stay here again on next time we visit Pamplona, Spain.
