The Nittany Budget Motel is a very quaint place to stay in State College. After having a reservation at another hotel in State College, I cancelled the reservation to stay at this hotel based on the great pricing and positive reviews. When I was checking-in the front office staff was very friendly and very helpful. Once my mom and I got to the room we loved how spacious it was as we brought our dog with us so we had a lot of room. I just spent a night but was excellent. The bad thing? I missed my breakfast the next day, but not complains about the stay over night. So...this is a great place. I cannot rated lower.
We were in the area for a Penn State game. It was a bit out of the area from the stadium but it was worth being off the beaten path. The room was accommodating for the over night stay and very clean. The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant at check in. Would definitely stay there again.
We only needed a room for one night to attend a college camp for my son. The hotel staff were friendly and very accompanying. The breakfast included with the stay was good and hearty especially for a growing boy who needed to have a full appetite for the day's activities. Thank you for making us feel comfortable and welcome.
The service was excellent. There was one person in particular named Cara at the front desk who was amazing. Love the hardwood floors in the rooms instead of the nasty carpet. It was a great stay!
Staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The lobby and restaurant were nice. The elevators were being serviced so it was a bit slower to get them. The parking garage could be better lit though.
This hotel was conveniently located right off the Highway. Our room was recently renovated and it was wonderful! Super clean, big comfy beds with clean white bedding, mirrors that light up, streaming on smart tvs, it looks like there will be a future restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast options were very minimal.
