A fantastic getaway. A trip down to Izu peninsula is a common adventure for most in the Tokyo area, however the choice between towns isn’t always clear. This property takes away any concern. You can spend the entire trip in the luxury of the hotel or venture out to see the small city of Ito. A rich history of European visitors and access to the mountains within 5 minutes drive. Amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant. The Wagyu beef was melt in your mouth fantastic. Great wine. The private onsen was perfect and so relaxing at the end of the night. Super comfortable bed and spacious room. Wish I had booked two nights. My only complaint is the coffee in the room is more espresso style and I love a big hearty cup of coffee in the morning. The hotel doesn’t offer coffee in the lobby which is a bummer. We didn’t add breakfast just because we don’t usually do breakfast....
