Hotels in Weerawila

We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores.

A delightful bit of "glamping" right next to the treasure of Yala Park. The "rooms" are comfortable and even air conditioned. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast served on a raised tower overlooking the park.

In a mix of environs, we are transported to a natural wildlife park, arid and dry, with cows, wild boars, rabbits, jumping monkeys and "humping dogs", throw in Cape Cod's sand dunes so fine and the Indian Ocean so rough and you've now got our next Sri Lankan featured destination, the modern Jetwing Hotel & Tented Villas of Yala Park! Here, we Glamped in the Tented Villas (2xs the price of hotel rooms) for the experience and then transfer into the hotel rooms with our 4 kids ages 17, 15, 13 and...

Essentially worth of money

Yala Safari Camping is such an incredible & unique experience. The tents are so nice, the staff is beyond incredible. I stayed as a solo female traveler back in December and I felt so safe and taken care of. They help coordinate two safaris for me during my stay. The wifi wasn’t working while I was there so they gave me a hotspot to borrow while I was staying so I could keep up with work calls and emails.

Amazing staff and magical place! We enjoyed a BBQ dinner and did a morning safari. Facilities could be a bit better maintained but it seems to be a standard in Sri Lanka :)
