"We had a wonderful two‑night stay in mid‑September. The room was spacious and spotless, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the historic downtown. We’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway."
"We stayed one night, but enjoyed it very much. Staff helped us rearrange our plans to maximize the use of our time for visiting sites. Room was great, parking was easy, breakfast was tasty and filling. Location was perfect!"
"WE thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lawrence's Hotel! The setting of the hotel is gorgeous, looking out over lush vegetation in a beuatiful gorge. It offers indoor and outdoor dining which is wonderful. The food was great and the rooms comfortable. The hotel staff were kind and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to stay in lovely Sintra."
"Brilliant hotel. Staff are lovely, really attentive. The facilities are great, the location is fabulous, just along from Cascais centre. breakfast good selection and well managed.
Room spotlessly clean and additions such as turn down service nice to receive."
"Room was cleaned everyday by the cleaning staff who were super friendly, check in and out was really easy and staff at the desk are always willing to help you with any questions"

Exceptionally clean, with accommodating staff. Steps away from the National Palace, and tour bus
stops. Minutes from the train station, but don't try to walk it with luggage. Restaurants, and shops
just around the corner.
Loved the staff and we stayed in the Jane Lawrence room, a beautiful corner room with great views and a small balcony. The breakfast was fine and we enjoyed the location. Plenty of pretty indoor and outdoor spaces. We especially liked Amanda who was very kind to us!
We loved this hotel and its location. The rooftop pool deck is great. 1.5 mile walk to Cascais, beautiful beaches right across the street, the train station to go to Lisbon is a 4 minute walk, and an Uber ride to Sintra is just around $20. It really is a great hotel and location.
We loved Sintra. The hotel was in the perfect location to explore and get to the highlights like the Palácio Nacional da Pena as well as Quinta da Regaleira. Sintra is a traditional old city that has so many spectacular views and places to see. It is wonderful.
Out of all the hotels that I have ever stayed in Europe, the Grande Real Villa Italia & Spa was the best hotel! Located in a beautiful beach community, this location is ideal for a wonderful outdoor pool and close to the water for beach adventures. You can also relax with the hotel amenities, such as the great spa services and massage deals. Definitely stay here for close walking distance to the shops and restaurants nearby. Everyone was amazing and the hotel helped arrange transportation if you...
Really loved this hotel! We stayed in Lisbon for a few days, and then came to this hotel for a beach view and different scene. The view from the terrace rooms and guest lounge are breathtaking! This hotel has a gorgeous lobby and outside property, the rooms and bathroom nice, great hot water and shower pressure also a huge plus! The central Cascais area is a short 10-min walk, where all the shops and restaurants are, and it’s a great, easy walk! We did this walk every day and loved it!! The...
Is a very beautiful place, like a real Palace.Everything is perfect!precious decorations, impecable clean, royalty .The Staff is very thoughtful and polite.Like a dream come true.
A great find with the price we paid! We were not having a high expectation with the price we paid. But we were surprised with what we got. The free parking space is huge even in American standard and I do not have to struggle to back in like in other places. The breakfast are wonderful and included! If you have a car to visit Lisbon, this will be a great choice to base your car here and then Uber or taxi to the city. About 20 mins to the city center. We had a wonderful stay and actually...
Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. After checking in we were given a tour of the hotel which was beautiful and breathtaking (the photos online do not do this hotel justice). After spending the day in our beautiful hotel room we went to the front desk and asked if there was anywhere good around...
Amazing views from our room. It's always disappointing however to be given twin beds instead of a double and the mattress protectors made the bed very sweaty.
Breakfast was very busy so maybe that's why we didn't have the best experience.
That said we would return without hesitation. We loved the area and had a wonderful time
Excellent buffet breakfast included. Bus loads of tourists....I guess it depends on the time of year....but they seem to disappear and even breakfast was not that crowded. The view is outstanding and the staff is very accommodating.
I thought this hotel was perfect for families! The bunk bed rooms are ideal and a great use of space for our family of 4. The kids thought it was really fun and we had plenty of room for all. We also loved the rooftop pool and bar space, especially after a long day of touring around. It’s very family friendly and convenient. We were able to walk to several restaurants and had some fun shopping in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel if you like staying away from city center...
A 6 night stay. The a/c did not work as we reported and we changed rooms. Staff very helpful. The electrical outlet by the bed was not operational. Bathroom door out of alignment and did not close. Wood floor in around toilet is stained (water marks) and not hay We expect on a $200 Euro/ night room.
The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was first class. Very polite and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lisbon.
I loved the hotel, simple with comfy bed. The location is great, across the street is a hub for all the tours, downtown is less than a mile walk down nice street with expensive stores. The downtown is 20 min by walk, nice and quiet. There is a little market where you can get water , there is a refrigerator. Shopping mall 10 min walk on one street. If you are looking for a comfy bed, this is the place, taxi to airport at 3am 18 euro, regular time 10-15 euro, 15 -20 min ride
