The hotel is a modern design in a traditional fishing village. Its rooms are sleekly designed and comfortable. Our balcony view was of the harbor and the sunset; beautiful. The village is walkable with many cafes and restaurants. The hotel breakfast buffet was excellent with quick, attentive service. The main desk staff were very friendly and spoke functional English. They seemed genuinely pleased that we were visiting and very proud of their country.

I would classify Lavandula more as a guesthouse than a hotel, given that it has only about 10 rooms and limited common area. There is, however, a nice little area to sit outside, and it is just a couple of hundred meters from the beach.
