"This is a great place to stay for walks in the surrounding hills, with some great views. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and I think I ate too much as it was so food. The lounge area is quiet and very homely, nice to sit with a cup of coffee & read. The lady manager was very kind and helpful & allowed me to practice my bad Norwegian on her 😉"

"Good location in the centre of Geilo. We had a two bed apartment with a lounge area, kitchen and bathroom. Very comfy bed.
Downsides, you can't specify where in the block you want to be. Although we booked over 6 months ago, hoping for a view, we found ourselves on the ground floor looking over some sheds/shacks with very little view of the spectacular scenery.
Also, obtaining the key relies on a mobile phone with access to the Internet as there is no person at a reception on site to help. "
