We stayed at Alonaki Resort our first night in Greece. We loved being surrounded by lemon and olive trees. The property is beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hosts are amazing and very accommodating. After arriving we went to dinner at one of the recommended restaurants, Celest by the marina. My favorite restaurant of our trip to Greece. In the morning we were treated to a delicious breakfast and given some snacks for our ferry ride to Corfu. I would highly recommend staying...
The room and private pool/patio were lovely & comfortable, especially the lounge furniture on the patio. But it was impossible to get to the nice seating area below this and closer to the sea unless you went through your pool. The small complex of 4 rooms is built into the hillside, so you must descend 2 flights of stairs. We are elderly & appreciated the elevator! Excellent breakfast, which is delivered. The hotel is in the best location in the middle of Lefkada city around shops and restaurants and the marina. Big negative point that you are unable to access the hotel with any car, or park there , and you must walk to reach it from a public - usually full- parking. Service is above and beyond, the ladies ate all there to help and please. Very nice experience would ho back.
