We went and saw a lot and after a visit to the Ojai used bookstore we spent a lot of time reading on the patio deck, watching the gulls, waves and beachgoers. Never made it to the national or state parks. To much to do for a first visit to Ventura and Ojai. "

"The grounds are beautiful. The Inn is old but they are working on it. We love the big rooms because we are quilters and bring our machines, cutting boards, etc and there is still room to spread out and pin your quilt. "

"It was clean and in a great location (walkable to the beach). There’s also a pool. The beds were way too soft and need to be replaced but the room was clean and there was loads of parking"

"We were pleased with our stay at the Viking Motel . Check-in at 8 pm was quick and simple. The room was very clean and had tile floors throughout. The king bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Having a full kitchen was a bonus, even though we did not cook, but just had breakfast from the grocery store. This is an older property, but it has been updated better than many older places we have stayed."
