The motel is privately owned and is located a short distance from the beach. The furnishings are quaint. Beds were comfortable and had enough room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The pool was clean as was the Jacuzzi. We were able to face the bay across the quiet roadway. We were close to being in town in one direction and the beach in another direction. All within 10 minutes in either direction. The proprietor was open, friendly and helpful with directions and places to go and see.
Lovely spot, clean, cozy cabin with fridge and microwave. Not fancy at all and probably pretty noisy in the height of the season, but my early season stay was beyond peaceful.
Husband and I were up in this area to see a state championship basketball game that our granddaughter was playing in. The accomodations were gracious. The Innkeeper, Lynne and Marc, were terrific. Will be returning to the Nutmeg Inn.
Lovely hotel, very quiet, with a fabulous gas fireplace in our spacious room. Make reservations for the private pool (FYI there is no hot tub, despite what Expedia claims, which was a minor disappointment.) So convenient to get dinner at the attached steakhouse (the creamed spinach and steak tips with parm fries are recommended). Easy 15 minute drive to Gunstock. We hope to be back.
The location is amazing, I call it my slice of heaven, we have stayed there at least a half dz. times. The owner removed the old loud AC and replaced it with Eco friendly AC. I told him I miss the sound the window unit so he went out and bought me a fan! You have to love it!
I was in Meredith for a work event Friday evening and booked a one night stay so I didn't have to travel home after the event and spend the day in Meredith before heading home Monday evening. The hotel was convenient, clean, and comfortable. The event was at one of the other Mills Falls Resorts and they did a great job. The area was beautiful and the Palmer Inn is located right in the middle of shops and restaurants and across from the lake making everything accessible.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Tilton Inn. I was in the area for a celebration of life for my late mother’s best friend, and I discovered this inn on Orbitz. It was 30 minutes from the campground so I booked it for the convenience. Little did I know that I would end up promising myself that I will back. Great facility. For an inn with only 44 rooms, they had all the comforts of a much larger hotel. food was fantastic and REASONABLE. Service was great in all aspects, from grounds people to server, bartender and front desk girls. About 31 miles from Weirs Beach, but just a two minute walk to downtown. We will definatley return to this location. Also, a twice daily ferry ride leaves from the premises for only $12!!!
NIck and Amy were amazing hosts. We were served a full homemade delicious breakfast. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Location was right in town with easy walking access to restaurants and bars.
