"Amazing experience - only an overnight stay but on arrival super friendly check-in. Complimentary red wine in room and when receptionist found out we had to leave very early next morning (6:15) to catch our train and would miss breakfast she arranged a packed lunch for us to take with us instead. So thoughtful (and very tasty)! Room was great too with v comfy bed. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again if come back to Regensburg. Thank you!"

"Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth and clear, including the fact that the hotel charges you a reduced rate for the parking (it’s not far from the hotel) and provides you with a payment stub to put in the machine when exiting the parkade. Location was convenient for walking everywhere and the breakfast was most enjoyable and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels we stayed in."

"I booked Hotel Jakob because of its proximity to Regenburg Aldstadt centre. The hotel receptionist kindly dispelled any fears of a parking issue by allocating an open garage parking space (€17.00/n). Sadly, the hotel did not have evening meals, but there were plentiful restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Near central location meant everywhere was within reasonable level walking distance. All hotel staff were most courteous and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this historic and beautiful city, and the hotel location would be ideal for a return visit.👏👏👏"
