"Great place with amazing views! Elena, the owner, was lovely but doesn't speak English. We managed with a few words each, a bit of sign language and a lot of Google translate. Rooms are perhaps unusual in decor but very comfortable and lots of choice for breakfast - particularly good omelette cooked freshly by Elena. Good tavernas within walking distance. Fabulous walking with the menalon trail. Very quiet and peaceful. And did I mention the views!"

"This quiet getaway was really a great location to get the feel of a countryside Greek town. Skies were beautiful at night with minimal light pollution. Staff and townsfolk were friendly and helpful if any needs were identified. Breakfast was HUGE, got to enjoy many delicious options and take away a few pastries for later in the day. "Staying at Villa Vager was such a great experience. The buildings themselves were gorgeous and nicely renovated with amenities. The included breakfast was cooked and served by the hosts, and it was one of the best breakfasts we had in Greece. Homemade jams, local bakery goods, freshly cooked eggs - the jams were so good we wanted to bring some home with us! The hosts were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations on where to go, based on what we wanted...
