If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Bocana del Rio Copalita Archaeological Zone— just one of the monuments in Crucecita. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is full of friendly people and has lots of nice beaches.
This space was a beautiful oasis from the heat of the city! The bed was cozy, AC worked great, everything you need! We loved relaxing by the pool and enjoying all the gorgeous greenery! I have new ideas for my pool area at home!! We had previously been staying at a big resort, so this was a wonderfully peaceful change of pace.
The owner/manager was incredibly kind, can’t thank him enough for his generosity! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!
Smaller hotel located a couple blocks off the main plaza. Great bang for the buck. Large, clean and relatively modern rooms with AC, TV, Wifi and hot water. The pool is small and really only suitable for kids. Free breakfast is an added bonus. Friendly staff and enjoyed my four days. Beaches are a 15-20 minute walk or catch a cab for 30 pesos and be there in less than five.
Quiet and nice hotel with basic amenities but it accomplishes the mission. We were on a quick stop to our next destination so we stayed one night only and this little hotel served its purpose very well, we would go back there
Nice spot - a good location between Crucecita and the beaches. Walkable to everywhere. Clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Hot water and cool AC. Pool area and nice breakfast restaurant.
Beautiful property. Only feedback is that the water pressure and shower drainage is not great. If you maximize the shower head there will be a ton of water overflow in your bathroom.
Other than that, this place is amazing.
I think this hotel is underrated by silly people who don't understand what a gorgeous place this is and the excellent infra structure of the town. It is authentic; kind wonderful Mexican people and just a very great place for eating, sunning and visiting some of the many beaches it offers. The only negative people would be those far less traveled and expecting Mexico to be Kansas.
The trip to Huatulco was nearly perfect. Interjet provided outstanding service, even though the morning flights out of Mexico City had been delayed by fog. We were only 20 minutes late taking off and arrived perfectly. Interjet still provides old fashioned service with a free drink of any kind (yes beer or a mixed drink) and a bag of chips to all their customers. I have flown them now several times and HIGHLY recommend them if you have the ability.

Immersed in the sandy jungle of Cuatunalco/Salchi, expect lush nature and comfort. Walking distance to some beautiful beaches. Comfortable beds a great plus and simple kitchen to cook meals. My only suggestion is to have some kitchen towels for guests. Otherwise an excellent and comfortable stay. Will return!
I don't regret it, the place is incredible. I thought long before booking because of the negative comments. I want to clarify something, yes you are right that it is very far from everything but if you are looking for peace and relaxation you will not regret it, it is the perfect place.Second, they say that you use a dirt road and that is also correct. Maybe it is a 10-minute road, but it is not a problem if you drive carefully, you will not have any problems getting there. The staff's attention...
The hotel is located at the top of the hill with a beautiful view of the bay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant served excellent food at an affordable price. The pool was clean and inviting. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill, but is a 15-20 minute walk to the beach or downtown. We recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or family gathering. We will stay here again.
