Elounda Mare is an absolute gem. Hidden in the Elounda hillside as if the hotel grew out of the landscape and with a sweeping view of a cerulean blue bay, this is a hotel to be reckoned with. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and spent 2 weeks enjoying the beautiful Greek Isles. This is a very nice hotel near the marina, a bit away from the chaos of the center of A.N. but still close to restaurants, the beach, etc. The perfect location in my opinion.
