"Perfect location right in the heart of downtown Durango. Lots of cute coffee shops and the one in the hotel was open until 11 pm. Right across from the cathedral and less than 2 minute walk to plaza de armas. Museums and lots of food options around. Definitely would return and stay here again. Breakfast had limited options but nonetheless it was tasty. Same items served daily with no fruits or pastries. "

"All staff at Gamma Vizcaya was friendly & helpful. Edgar the bell boy was very nice & helpful. Housekeeping staff were very friendly & always kept our room clean & with clean towels The restaurant had great dining options. Will definitely consider staying there next time we visit Durango. "

"I was given the corner room on the top floor directly above the Pancho Villa Suite. They even let me have a look at the room. My room had two balconies with French doors overlooking the historic centre of Durango. Many famous people have stayed here including John Wayne when he made his movies here. The staff was fabulous and the hotel is like a museum. Fabulous "

So knew of the hotel. It is a beautiful old, well kept hotel in the Heart of Centro Durango! Highly recommend. "

"Everything was great in the room. Only small issue was the shampoo and body wash. It was hard to get it. The pump wasn’t working well. Location was the best! In a mall, very cool!"
