"Decent hotel in a wonderful city and well-situated for bus, Metro or longish walk into old town. Claims to be a luxury hotel but it is not. No fridge in rooms, which in the summer heat is a real miss. Mock marble floors are great as they avoid the 'sticky carpet' issues but every time another guest moves a chair, table, etc in can be heard as a loud screeching (and forget the lay in once cleaners start). The breakfast is excellent but the bistro bar is pretty rubbish to be honest (but then finding decent restaurants in the city is hardly a problem). Overall ok and staff were friendly and helpful."

"We stayed for 8 nights in May, the hotel is smart and a good standard, it was just off season so not everything (restaurant) was fully open however we enjoyed our stay. The location is good with other restaurants etc within walking distance and the main facilities in Hyannis only a short drive away."

"Perfect location, right in the heart of the old town. Room was a good size and had character. Safe was locked (by a previous guest?) and we couldn’t use it, and oddly a small section of curtain had been nailed to the window frame - no idea why. Bathroom was modern and clean, bed was large and comfortable. Would recommend, we enjoyed our stay"

"Location was convenient for the beach and public transport. As we like walking we found the 50-60 min walk to the city centre ok too. We spent more time at the beach vs the pool as we couldn’t get seats and the pool is very overlooked. The only thing I didn’t like was not having anyone come in to clean the room in our 4.5 days there especially when you come back from the beach sandy."

"Great welcoming staff, always pleasant and helpful, from check-in, cleaning staff, and restaurant/bar staff. The room was cleaned daily, with clear instructions on sustainability, which was much appreciated. Staff helped me and my needs as a person with a disability, especially during the morning buffet."
