The hotel is about 10-15min walk from Himeji Station, and about a 20min walk to Himeji Castle. It was worth the price for this hotel, the room, although small, was well equipped, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is a nice addition. I would recommend this hotel.
Tatsuno is a charming, former samurai town that is easily explored on foot. We were in the area to visit the Hijemi Castle, and were very happy to be in Tatsuno, away from the bustle of tourists.
