I am a solo traveler and I only stayed one night on a layover but the hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast in the morning. I would absolutely stay here again.
Everything was great. Helpful staff for booking a taxi (we didn’t have to worry about parking, but noticed there was a car elevator in the back lot). Breakfast staff was nice and good options were good. Our room faced the busy street but it was quiet.
Staff is only there in the morning. Be sure to look for your room key before you enter the building. Because we followed someone else in, we missed that important detail. Stayed one night just to be close to airport and it was perfect for one night stay. Left early so did not have breakfast. They have a parking lot so easy parking and no charge.
Was a great place to stay! The rooms are a little committed to some designer's edgy ideas from few years back, but I kind of liked it in a quirky way. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were great, and I'm glad we stayed there and it was a reasonable price!
I stayed here while visiting family and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, hearty breakfast, clean and comfortable room, and the location. The hotel is within easy walking distance to several small shops and parks in Ismaning, and is ideally situated with quick access to the airport, main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and all of Munich via the inexpensive urban rail system (S-Bahn).

We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.

Nice hotel, it’s located one block from the river Eisbach, This is the famous artificial channel where surfers ride the standing wave. The only downside is that there was not AC but there was a fan in the room. I’d stay there again.
It's a Westin so you know what you are getting right off. Hotel is very clean and the staff were top notch. Parking was very easy albeit not cheap. The hotel is located 100 yards from the subway and it's only 4 or 5 stops to the town center. It's a very nice hotel but not centrally located if you want to walk to the town, you will need to take the train, but it's very close and only a few Euro's to get you there. There's limited dining options around the hotel but there is a Paulaner...
