"The hotel is close to the busy Mainz train station and the neighborhood can be somewhat gritty. As a single woman traveling alone I felt somewhat uncomfortable that when I checked in on Sunday I needed to use the lockbox and enter into an empty reception area. They also offer an amazing breakfast buffet. There is also great food options outside the hotel. The airport is 20 mins away walking, which is nice if you come out of a long flight, but taxis are available outside the hotel."

"The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating for requests. The superior room despite being clean and well maintained, is not as spacious as photos make it out to be. Also the streets around the hotel is not the most welcoming so keep in mind if walking with luggage. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as the views are terrific and the location is extremely central."

"The location was very good, and the price was reasonable considering the overall quality. The room was clean, but quite small. There was no safe box in the room, and the hotel did not have a gym. Room cleaning was also only provided every three days. If you rent a car, you can usually find parking in front of the hotel, which is convenient. There is also a REWE supermarket very close by. Overall, a decent option for the price and location."
