"If you are staying here it is awesome. Might be tricky getting there and getting food if not B&B but the place is amazing. My only downside was in my dietary requirements but the food that i could eat was delicious "
"This is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff who make you feel welcome. We highly recommend this hotel in Kyoto.
We especially want to thank E. Fujii, who helped us a lot when my husband became ill."
"The best stay in Japan. Very clean and new hotel, helpful and friendly staff, good location.
We arrived 3 hours earlier, the rooms were ready, we were greeted with a complimentary lemondade and allowed to check in.
Loved everything about that place, and Kyoto in general."
"Location amazing, just right in the corner of Kyoto Station, breakfast amazing, love the room especially the bathroom is big clean lovely. We really enjoyed to stay here."
"We loved this hotel and their amenities, such as the communal foot bath and beverage station! The location was great, very close to a metro station and various good restaurants. Their breakfast buffet was also very delicious. It was a good balance of Japanese and western dishes."

This was our first stay at a rhyokan (spelling!)and we were blown away by the beauty, The comfort (personally I felt sleeping on tatami mats on a futon perfect). The attentive service was welcoming and spot on.
We ate breakfast and dinner here and the local food was abundant, gorgeously presented and flavorful.
We had a room with a private Onsen on a deck. Highly recommend.
This was a unique, peak experience and I am a seasoned traveler. Do it.
The room was very big with a beautiful view of the forest. There was a nice wooden bath in the room and a very large communal bath. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, but there is only Japanese food and green tea, so if you want something else you should take it with you. All in all it was a wonderful ryokan experience at a very reasonable price.
Just steps from baggage claim in the airport terminal this hotel can't be more convenient, particular for international travelers transiting via Osaka to other domestic destinations in Japan.
Stayed here for 4 nights to visit the Kyoto sights. It was easily accessible by public transportation and close to many stores and restaurants. The property was very clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and I’d recommend it highly to anyone in the area.
The hotel is well situated in the downtown area of Kyoto, close to Nishiki market and plenty of shopping and food options. Our room was a nice size with a comfortable bed. The only complaint about the room was the lack of 100V outlets.
I've stayed in many hotels in the country and know this is not always provided, so I'm not faulting the hotel too much for this. The breakfast was one of the best in all the hotels we stayed at during the trip throughout the country. The amenities were also...
Overall, a great stay in Kyoto for tourists: convenient location; friendly service and ample ammenities; high quality breakfast buffet; and spacious & comfortable room. Would highly recommend!
Beautiful hotel with a beautiful room. Very spacious and the tub was perfect for relaxing. The staff were very kind and helpful. In a great location by the river and a lot of restaurants.
Amazing hotel! It was the best hotel choice i did for my japan trip. It was very centric in kyoto and very close to metro/bus lines. The staff was incredible and provided a great service. Also the breakfast was very complete and of good taste. If I return to kyoto, I will definitely stay here again.
Facilities were clean and the staff was very helpful. They provided details on free luggage delivery service to Osaka rather than the paid service. Location is not walk friendly to restaurants and other businesses
