Great ski location in a quaint swiss village. The lodge rooms are simple, clean, and priced accordingly. The lower lodge area is comfortable and chill. The food was tasteful and priced fair. The owners are super cool, include great hospitality, knowledge of the area, and will / can help you with anything. The lodge has ski storage and boot dryers. It sounds like they may add laundry facilities in the future. The whole area is an awesome experience.
this hotel is world class and is the nicest ski hotel I have ever stayed at. Service and the amenities were excellent. the rooms are as good as they get. The mountain is underappreciated as it compares with Lech, Grindewald, etc.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. So much attention to detail and beautifully restored. The host and hostess are wonderful and so very nice. Suggested things to do. And we ate a delicious dinner and breakfast the following day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants beauty, friendly and breathtaking views. I wish we had stayed longer.
Our stay was great. My only complaints were small but would still return. There were just multiple stains on our carpet and wish we had blackout curtains. Still worth staying!
I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time.
