"Mario Relais and her amazing host; Margrita made my stay even better than I had hoped. From ‘finding’ me on the street when I thought I was lost (I missed the very clear sign) to a warm greeting, to delicious and fresh breakfast…well I cannot wait to return to Sorrento. It was an easy walk to the historical center and Margrita offered many suggestions on things to do. I would highly recommend this location for any amount of time in beautiful Sorrento. "

"This was our favorite spot that we stayed on our recent trip across Italy! The room was pristine and exactly matched the pictures. The hotel location was also superb right by the Main Street of Sorrento. Easy access to the train station and harbor. Everyone on the staff was amazingly kind and helpful- even helping to arrange a welcome fruit platter and champagne bottle for our arrival to celebrate our honeymoon. We would definitely stay again if back in the Sorrento area! "

"Our stay at Mermaids Dream Sorrento was incredible. We were at 7 minute walk from the main shopping and dining. Vittorio was very kind and suggested restaurants nearby. The beach clubs were about a 15 minute walk but very easily accessible. The suite was very clean and recently renovated. Beautiful views of Mount Vesuvius and the sea. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the beautiful city of Sorrento. "

"Isabel (One of the hosts) was incredibly helpful throughout our entire stay as she assisted with booking us a ferry from Napoli after our bus was cancelled - she also assisted us by recommending great restaurants and things to do. The suite we stayed in had a beautiful balcony overlooking a main strip with shops/restaurants and it was very clean and up to date on all of its facilities (TV/Air Conditioning/Lights/Outlets/etc). If you’re staying in Sorrento I highly recommend staying at Cafe...

"Mela is was so helpful…she directed us to our parking and even helped us up the stairs with our luggage. The hotels in sorrento are tucked away off the main streets but they are so great! Right off the main pedestrian strip and an espresso machine in the lobby! I really loved it here!"

"This is a great hotel with view of Sorrento. About a 10 minute walk down to town. We took taxi to get there with luggage from ferry and then taxi back to ferry day we left. They helped us arrange a vespa for 70 euro a day that we rode to the Amalfi Coast we preferred Positano and Ravello over Amalfi too crowded. Staff was wonderful and there daily breakfast was great as well!"

"Our visit to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast was amazing. The guest house is very roomy and the location is perfect in my opinion. Catarina helped us with some travel that was cancelled due to delayed flight, she helped us book a eondetful boat tour of Amalfi and Positano also. Top notch service from everyone at La Ferrovia Guest House. Also note, very, very close to train station and the bus station also 5 minute walk."

Very delicious breakfast, spacious room and bathroom, very convenient location for everything to see in Sorrento and not a single problem at all. Luigi and his friend helped us with our luggage to get to the port where we needed to take off to Naples and also helped us with our luggage getting to Sorrento. Will definitely be booking with this hotel when we come back to Sorrento!"

"Location was excellent, walkable from train station and very near the port. Located at central part of town with lots of eateries nearby and the shopping area too. The room was spacious and luxurious (enormous bathroom) and the staff super friendly and helpful. Some small issue with water drainage but it was addressed immediately after i brought it up."
