"This place was an absolutely wonderful find! Its location right off the motorway is incredibly convenient, and it’s a quick drive to Waterford.
We were a family of four (with an infant) and were delighted to be allowed to check-in early as our room was ready. The room itself far exceeded my expectations; it was cleaner and newer than many dedicated hotels I’ve stayed in. The bathroom was spotless and modern, with excellent hot water and strong water pressure.
Despite the presence of a bar downstairs, the soundproofing was superb—we couldn't hear any noise from the pub at all, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were welcoming, and the food was very satisfying.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would happily choose to book this lodge again in the future!"

"It’s raining and storming in Dunmore East so we decided to duck into Strand Inn for shelter. When we saw the fresh fish specials of the day, we decided to stay for dinner, too. We fell in love with the staff and decided we needed to stay the night!! It was the perfect decision. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before we headed on our way.
Highly recommended!!!"
