This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly. You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants! The hotel is beautiful! This is a lovely hotel near the cable car that goes up the mountain. You can ski right up to the front door of the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was very extensive and well-supplied, with high quality food. I had a very enjoyable stay here, and would come again without hesitation. Beautiful hotel. In the heart of Interlaken. Close to the train station + short driving distance to the Falls. Looked like a great spa but we couldn’t use it because of Covid. - you need a Swiss Covid QR to enter Spas + restaurants. Otherwise a beautiful experience.

We spent a week here for our anniversary and the setting is hard to beat. The resort is spotless, the lake and mountain views are postcard-perfect, and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. If you want quiet, clean air, and scenery, this delivers. The tradeoff is isolation. Getting anywhere else in Switzerland means long drives on winding mountain roads, and the access road is single-lane with scheduled up/down windows, so you can’t come and go on a whim. Literally the best, most spectacular views of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Location is a bit tricky, as you have to take a train up from Lauterbrunnen then walk about 6-7 minutes up and down hill to get there,. Setting of the hotel right at the Lake of Thun and its big property overlooking the most spectacular Swiss mountains made the stay very special. We booked the renovated Designer Room, which is huge and beautiful. Exceeded all our expectations!!! We certainly will return to this hotel for all the above reasons.

This hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff were helpful and professional. The location was perfect and easily accessible to trains and activities. There is a great restaurant with common comfort foods attached to the hotel. I look forward to visiting Interlaken and staying at this hotel again.

Very clean hotel with excellent service! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to answer our questions. Cruz and other staff went above and beyond to help us navigate public transportation and find the best tourist areas to visit. The breakfast was great, and the view of the mountains and lake was absolutely breathtaking. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

I really lovely, relaxing weekend. We ordered room service as the restaurant was fully booked, but what a great choice as we enjoyed an amazing view from our balcony. The room was wonderful, very clean and in pristine condition with a good mix of Victorian and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Who are we? We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. We booked the family suite with two connecting rooms, one with a double bed and a small one with 2 twins.
